Daimon - Jennifer L. Armentrout The first time I read this book was because of a friend of mine who I share the same taste in books (thanks Eunice) but the first time I read it, it didn’t really connect with me that much. I don’t know why but it didn’t. You might be asking why I reread it? I reread it because of Obsidian which exteremely awesome and addicting! I was also hesitant to read that book because of how I felt about this book but when I got HOOKED with Obsidian I told myself I have to give the Covenant series another try which I did and was totally happy that I gave it another shot.

For you to really get the feel of this series I think its necessary to read this prequel first. Daimon shows you what happened before the first chapter of Half Blood. It shows you a the major plot line that will be further stretched out in the next books. It deals about Mythology like I’ve never seen before. I mean I love Greek Myth spin-off like Starcrossed and the Goddess Test but this one is very different. It has an entirely different feel to it which makes it all the more intriguing and interesting.

What I really loved about this was the writing style. I love fast-paced books and this one was one of them books that will keep you at the edge of your seat. There were no dull moment here I tell you. Ms. Armentrout, I am so in love with you!
